My name is Kenneth J Larney III. People usually call me KJ or Ken for short. I am a hard working, determined, young graphic designer.

Ever since I can remember, I always loved art. It was something that just came natural to me.
I new I wanted to be able to work with my hands and not only create things, but create things that people
would use.

In high school, I studied Architectural Design. My plan was to go to school, become a rich well known architect, design
million dollar abstract houses, and live easy.

Well, that idea was just a bit off, what actually happened was this.

I went to school to become an architect. I worked hard at learning every aspect of the trade, and
I really liked what I was doing. I was also working as a salesmen at a local Gym. There I was learning all about
Business, sales, marketing techniques and how to talk to potential clients. About a year had past and a major turning point in my life had occurred. Funds were tight and my school was asking for more and more money. I was being told that my dreams of designing
million dollar homes in this economy were not easy to come by and the market for building has tremendously decreased.
With this in mind I started second guessing my whole career path.

My first run in with graphic design was while I was working at the Gym. We were having a big sale on memberships and
my manager wanted to get some banners made to promote the gym. I was constantly coming up with different marketing ideas for the
Gym and my boss decided to ask me for some advice and to get some price quotes for some banners to be made.
A few days went by and I got a few quotes from different places in the area. What my boss didn't know was that I have been using the Adobe suite as a hobby for years. While he was feeding me knowledge in marketing and business, I was busy translating it to my
designs. So what I did was put together a few designs of my own and presented them to my boss thinking I was going to save the company money. He ended up loving my ideas and decided to use them for the banners. Then he mentioned pay. At that very moment,I realized that I could be getting payed to do my hobby!

I started to design like crazy. Posters, t-shirts, logos, flyers, photo retouching, etc.
I love designing. I am doing exactly what I set out to do since I was a child. I create things every day that people can use in their lives.
So what ended up happening was I transferred out of my first college into my current college. My new degree being in fine arts.
I have taken a bunch of art history classes, some drawing classes, graphic design classes, color classes, ceramic classes, 2D design classes, etc. all the wile practicing my chosen trade in graphic design and building a portfolio.

I am now at a point in my life where I am ready for the next step. Real world experience. That is the reason I came up with Imagine ink.
My goal is to gain real world experience with real world clients to help me in my path to success. I have been careful to take the steps needed to create my business and I can only hope that it will take me to where I want to go.

With that said. I will be there 100% of the way to help you with ALL of your graphic design needs. There is no job too big or too small out there. I will give each and every job a fair and precise quote. Turnaround as well as quality will be one of my top priorities.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I look forward to what lies ahead and will take each day as a new opportunity for success.
